Now that Adelaide's home of quality stand-up shows Adelaide Comedy is turning 13 it's time for a change. Just like those changes we all experienced as the teens hit, Adelaide Comedy is ready for something different.

From July 10, Adelaide Comedy presents all new nights of stand-up comedy plus a specky new website with hours of fun comedy content, gigs, news and more.

To bring in the change, Australian comedic mastermind Greg Fleet will headline the entire run of shows for the birthday week (July 10-14) plus help host the huge birthday party at Rhino Room on July 14. Friends and fans are encouraged to dress as their teenage self for the birthday party, to show solidarity with Adelaide Comedy coming of age.

Greg Fleet is a living legend of Aussie comedy, and one of the most experienced and popular stand-up comics currently working the world stage. Initially setting out to be an actor, Fleety trained at NIDA - the National Institute of Dramatic Art - before realising that comedy was his true calling. In fact, Fleety's first foray into the comedy career was at Melbourne's Prince Patrick Hotel in 1987 where, too nervous to stand up, he was more of a 'sit-down' comic. Now, of course, Greg Fleet stands head and shoulders above the pack by merging theatricality and comedy.

The Rhino Room will host One Mic Stand (open mic stand-up) every Monday, Comedy Lab (established comedians mixing up new jokes for your amusement) every Thursday plus Friday and Saturday nights will showcase the best in local, interstate and international comics each week.

The Marion Hotel holds onto its title as the best place for comedy shows in the South every Wednesday night and The Arkaba Hotel's Sunday afternoon sessions will cater to those who need to tickle their funny bone on their day of rest.

All shows - excluding Monday's One Mic Stand - will be headlined by Adelaide Comedy's feature act of the week, which has included; Wil Anderson, Arj Barker, Stephen K Amos, Fiona O'Loughlin, Peter Helliar, Frank Woodley, Ross Noble, Pauly Shore, Jim Jeffries, Tom Gleeson and more.

The schedule for the week is as follows:

Wed 10th | Doors 8pm | The Marion Hotel, Marion RD. Mitchell Park

Thu 11th | Doors 8pm | The Rhino Room, Frome St. Adelaide

Fri 12th | Doors 8pm | The Rhino Room, Frome St. Adelaide
